The main attraction is of course our lovely beach, with wonderful swimming at high tide and a paradise for playing, shrimping, windsurfing, exploring, watching wildlife or walking at low tide.  A little further afield are:

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve – Seal Safari Boat Trip –  Bodiam River Boats – Bodiam CastleCamber Castle – Winchelsea Town – Winchelsea Town Map Dungeness – Hythe/Dymchurch Miniature Railway – Rudyard Kipling’s House – Bexhill-on-Sea – Fairlight Cliffs – Rye Harbour

Rye Leisure Centre

Guided ToursOne, two or three mile nature walk maps in East Sussex.

These are just a few of the many places to visit in the area.
The neighbouring village of Rye Harbour is within easy walking or cycling distance along the shore road, and has a shop, pub, café and fishmonger selling local fish.
